Hi, I’m Ruri Ohama!
I built Kaizen because I was the person who quit everything after 3 days.

Depression, ADHD, and countless failed attempts at “fixing” myself – every productivity system made me feel more broken.

They demanded perfection I couldn’t give.

Kaizen (改善) is a Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement through tiny, sustainable steps – the same approach Toyota used to become the world’s most efficient manufacturer.

I adapted this for personal productivity:

Instead of “wake up at 5am” → “wake up 5 minutes earlier”

Instead of “never procrastinate” → “one important task first”

This 1% daily improvement approach helped me grow my YouTube channel to 1.4M subscribers, learn 4 languages, and build a business that let me retire my parents. But more importantly, it rebuilt my self-trust.

Every time you quit another system, you trust yourself less. Kaizen breaks that cycle. When your system adapts to you instead of demanding you change, you finally start keeping promises to yourself.
